FEV Racing is taking part in the 24-Hour Race at Nürburgring
You can be there live!
From Thursday on, one of the world’s most legendary racing events will kick off. More than 150 teams will compete against one another on the 24 kilometers of “Green Hell” at the Nürburgring Nordschleife over the long Ascension Day weekend. With more than 70 curves per round, drivers and equipment will be put to the extreme test.
Also participating this year will be the team from FEV Racing.
Following prior team success with the BMW M3 GTR S (known as “Eifelblitz”), which was on display until recently in the entrance to Building 6 on Neuenhofstrasse, last year FEV Racing returned to motorsports and has one of the fastest vehicles in its category in the up-and-coming class of TCR.
The team immediately picked up where it left off at the end of the highly successful 2017 premiere season with a victory in its first race of the season this year. The team is now preparing for the undisputed highlight of the season: the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race.
The members of FEV Racing will be on hand as a true Team Aachen. FEV is not the only one: Arndt Hallmanns, Wolfgang Haugg, Andre Gies, and Benedikt Gentgen also represent four local heroes from Aachen and its surrounding communities. Together, they will test their driving skills on the Nordschleife and prove that in addition to soccer (Alemannia Aachen), horse riding (CHIO), and volleyball (Ladies in Black premiere league team), motorsports has also successfully been anchored in the cross-border region. Benedikt is even driving a true FEV creation (BOL department).
With access to the paddock and numerous opportunities to follow the race at the various positions along the track, fans are being offered a chance to experience motorsports up close and in all its glory. Anyone wishing to show their support for FEV Racing on the ground is invited to visit the team at Nürburgring. Our vehicle will have starting number 176, in box 11.
